Nature post
Some people take things for granted and don't realize that the little things matter the most. Today, everything is about going going going. No one takes time to stop their crazy life and just think about how the small things are everything in our life. Trees, grass, the wind, everything like that matters in our life. Without nature, we wouldn't know what to do everyday. Weather is what controls our life. If it was snowing out, not a lot of people would take a long trip, because the roads would be bad. Seclusion isn't always a bad thing, it does provides peace. People think that you have to be around everyone to be happy. They don't realize that seclusion is symbolic, and it does provide you with a good sense of calmness. While being outside, in the peaceful place of the woods, It made me feel like nothing else mattered but what was in front of me. It gave me a lot of time to think about what I really should be doing and planning for my future. Secluding yourself from things is not a bad thing at all. I think that if everyone did seclude yourself once in a while from the real world, people would have a better understanding of things. It honestly does give you time to realize things, and think things through, rather than making your decisions quickly and in the spur of the moment. However, people do believe that if they have too much time to sit there and realize what's present and what's past, they will dwell on all of the mistakes that they have made, and how it has changed their life. I do believe that people are scared to admit and take responsibility for the mistakes that they have made, and the consequences that they have delt with. Being calm and peaceful makes you realize that you are a real individual that has all control over your life. Thats what everyone needs to realize.

Oakhurst
The reason why Oakhurst was the strongest and the weakest was because he was the leader of the group, for example he took charge of everything, and made sure that everyone had what they wanted. He lead them out of town, but then he randomly killed himself. He was the strongest because when his luck was good he always knew what to do, but when his luck went bad, he killed himself.

Sympathy for Willy?
Yes and no because Willy put himself in the situation that he's in. You cant really tell why he put himself in this situation because he obviously has mental health issues, and at some times he cant tell the difference between reality and his thoughts. He is no longer able to perform his duties as a sailsmen. Since he is not able to sell his products, and he is not able to pay off his debt, he has to borrow money off of his friend. Willy also is at an age where he should be retired. Another downside of this is that he cant fall back on his sons because he always taught them that popularity is more important that acedemics. I dont really feel bad for Willy because he should take the job offer that his friend has given him, and he should stop trying to kill himself because he is trying to run away from his problems instead of taking time to solve them.

The Life You Save May Be Your Own
I believe that the theme in this book was Alienation, because Mr. Shiftlet was an outsider, and he did things on his own. He traveled around the country to earn money to get by, and he thought more of himself, but also did things differently because he only had one arm. At the end of the book, he met a boy that was hitchhiking and asked him why he left, and Mr. Shiftlet said that his mother was mean to him. He told him the story about when he left his mother and said that he should have never left. The boy got mad at him and he told him to pullover, and he swore at him, saying that he was stupid. This is a good example of Alienation.
